DescriptionNational service organization is looking for a Supervisor of Biomedical Operations to be based out of the Bridgeport CT area. Will be responsible for approx 14 biomedical service engineers at 6 hospitals within a 200 mile radius for Bridgeport. Manage the day-to-day operations of these sites, assure that service engineers meet all scheduled requirements, evaluate employees for annual reviews, and keep facilities JCAHO compliant. Company wants someone with extensive Joint Commission knowledge, who has run a program in a hospital, can write a management program, and has managed & tracked inventory in a hospital, There is limited hands-on work required, but person hired needs to come from a biomedical service environment. Company will consider some relocation assistance for the right candidate. Compensation includes an incentive plan for successful renewal of service contracts. Need to be either a U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident with excellent English communication skills. Company will do a thorough background check and drug screen.
