A Great Beginning...
A community college is part of the public higher education system and is designed to provide academic preparation for transfer to bachelor’s degree programs, career preparation to meet area workforce needs, job retraining and lifelong learning. A community college is authorized to award associate degrees and certificates to graduates in many fields.
Partial public funding keeps the cost of attendance significantly lower than tuition and fees at other colleges and universities. Admission is open to anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent. Open access and affordability are critical components of our mission.
In addition to providing responsive, innovative educational programs to a very diverse student population, a community college always strives to be an integral part of the communities it serves. Middlesex goes above and beyond to meet these goals.
Dedicated Faculty...

Most hold advanced academic degrees in their fields, and many have exceptional experience in the workplace. They are all believers in the community college mission.
